We are head over heels for this PDX streetart down under the Hawthorn bridge. It’s by Nia Musiba, working with PDX Street Art Alliance.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the great challenges of interior design is helping people select the right art for their rooms. So many people have learned to hang art at eye level, which is very boring and often just flat wrong depending on the scale of a place. Well-scaled art enhances architecture, expands a room and invites our minds to explore new concepts. Nia’s piece stretches two stories high and carries our eye from street level, right up to the underbelly of the bridge. It stops us dead in our tracks and insists we step into the world beyond.

The one thing this client was missing was an eat-in kitchen. By moving the refrigerator to the other side of the room, Daniel House was able to grant her wish! We love the use of Art work by the PDX local Mid Century artist, Dorothy Yezerski.
